The Hartwell Learning Center (HLC) is a highly structured, therapeutic day school program for students in grades K through 6. Our small classroom size, low student-to-staff ratios, and our school-wide positive behavior supports and interventions allow us to maintain the highest educational standards while addressing the individual needs of our students. School-based individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention programs compliment our focused academic instruction. Through our Therapeutic Support Program and Adapted Learning Program we focus on improving academic, social/emotional, and coping skills while providing our students with a safe, consistent, and positive learning environment in which they can grow and succeed.
