⭐ WooStar Dr. Amy DeFeudis, Adjustment Counselor at Worcester Tech ⭐

“Amy goes above and beyond the call of duty for the betterment of the students and staff,” said one co-worker. “She is always leaving cards of encouragement on my desk or to others showing us all how much she cares and actually listens not only to us, but the students as well.”

Amy is described as someone who comes in early and stays late, spreading her kindness to everyone she meets. Co-workers describe working with Amy as “an honor” due to her ability to make anyone near her feel special.

“She deserves to be recognized for not only devotion to her job and herself, but for her care towards the wellbeing of everyone around her. She is magnetic, and you always seem to find yourself stopping by her office just to say hello.”

Way too go Amy, congratulations

I worked with Amy back in 2005 to 2007 . She was a fabulous School Adjustment Counselor who worked nonstop helping the kids of Worcester Technical High School. So pleased she is being recognized!

Nice work Doctor Defeudis!

Woo-hoo! Go Fredricka! A total star in our community who makes Worcester proud every day!

Ready for the Solar Eclipse later today? We know our South High science teachers are! 🌞🌚

Check out this amazing video put together by Ms. Stowe, Mr. Jones, and Mr. Turner as they unveil the science behind today's near-total solar eclipse! 🌟Discover what a solar eclipse is and how to safely witness this rare spectacle.

The near-total solar eclipse will take place in Worcester between 2:15-4:45 PM, with 90% of the sun blocked at approximately 3:28 PM.

***Please inform your children that it is dangerous to look directly into the sun during a solar eclipse without wearing “Safe Solar Viewers." Sunglasses are not safe to wear to view the sun during an eclipse, no matter how dark. Safe Solar Viewers are thousands of times darker and should comply with the ISO 12312-2 international standard.***

Where will you be viewing the near-total solar eclipse from?
